Established in 1989, SUN YUAN Technology is a professional bellow manufacturer in Taiwan. For over 30 years, SUN YUAN has been dedicating to the development of the protection covers for machine slideways. Under our brand DEFENDER Machine Protection System, we deliver engineered protection products that safeguard precision machinery, extend service life, and enhance production reliability. The DEFENDER brand represents rugged performance, precision engineering, and trusted protection for CNC machines, hydraulic presses, grinders, and automated equipment across diverse industries.

Our development of products begins from the simple bellows cover to the latest extra high-speed finned bellows cover. The design and production concept behind SUN YUAN products is to extend the machine service life for our customers. With continuous technical innovation, SUN YUAN has earned multiple international patents, reflecting our commitment to quality and advancement. Our products are made from environmentally friendly materials, such as PUR and safe PVC, and meet all RoHS standards. We aim to provide good performance while being kind to the environment.

We also offer customized solutions to meet client-specific requirements, leveraging advanced manufacturing processes and strict quality control. From raw material inspection to finished products, all stages adhere to international quality standards, ensuring high reliability and competitiveness. Company History

1989

Company established.

1998

Wholly-owned and renamed the company as “SUN YUAN Technology Inc.”

1999

Company removed to Banqiao District.

2004

Expanded our factory in Tucheng District.

2005

Established Sales & Marketing Division in Taichung City.

2007

Company removed to the industrial area in Tucheng District.

2009

Applied ERP system and established R&D center in Taichung City.

2010

Established China Business Unit to expand Chinese market.

2011

Joined Taiwan Machine Tool M-team association.

2012

Created new brand “DEFENDER.”

2013

Acquired the certification of ISO9001:2008

2014

Taichung R&D center removed to Yuanli Township and established Sheet Metal Dept.

2015

Renamed the company as “SUN YUAN Technology Co., Ltd.

2016

Established laboratory and set up the life testing standard of Bellows Cover.

2017

Purchased the lands in Yuanli to construct a new industrial building.

2018

Acquired the certification of ISO9001:2015; Purchased a 3-meter bending machine.

Made a work partnership with MEIKO INDUSTRY CO.,LTD

2019

Tucheng Factory moved to Dajia Dist. Taichung City.

2021

The Dajia factory and the Yuanli R&D center were moved to the new factory together in December

Signed an all-Japan agency contract with the East Japan agency "Meiko Industry Co., Ltd."
